Thanks and Giving and Shopping Too

Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday of the year! I love food, I love to cook, I love my family so it is no wonder right, the perfect holiday for me. Now Black Friday on the other hand, I have only ever gone out once and it was at 11:00 am to a craft store and I VOWED NEVER AGAIN, it was INSANE!!! We are talking full blown cat fights over some scrapbook something or other. No, for me I am an online, digital girl and did you know there are some awesome deals online on Black Friday too? So in the spirit of Thanksgiving and to save you all bodily harm I have the privilege to host what I think is an AWESOME giveaway!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?!?
(seriously, My Memories ROCKS my socks!)
How cute is this? I made it today in about 15 min., and I am not kidding!

this one took even less time because this awesome program
has already built pages and you just add to them.
I have never been a big scrapbooker,
1) I have 4 kids (the youngest would be WAAAYYY too much help
2) I don't have the space or the $$ for all those cute cute cute teeny tiny embellishments
3) If I can't finish the project during nap time it gets added to my pile of projects
4) I am a bit of a perfectionist and can't stand "mess ups"
but I just might, finally, get it together and turn my family blog into a book using this program
You can add pictures, and journaling, embellishments, and there is NO cutting, gluing, measuring and clean up is a cinch...save it and close it

Christmas Cards anyone?! I LOVE making Christmas cards and my possibilities just became virtually endless! Not only can you use the scrapbook kits with this cool program, but you can also use them with Photoshop, or my favorite Paint Shop.
I also bought a kit that I am so excited to make a flannel board nativity with...eeekk...so cute!

so are you ready for this giveaway yet? My Memories-digital scrapbook software is giving away the software for FREE to one lucky lucky ducky, and it could be you. Here is how you can enter...
1) Follow this blog (leave a comment that you have)
2) Go to www.mymemories.com and check out their kits and find your favorite one. Come back here and leave a comment telling me which one it is...my favorites would have to be both of my Christmas Kits (the first one is called Reason For the Season and the last one is called All I Want For Christmas)
3) Share this post with all your friends on all your networking sites-facebook, twitter, blogs (leave a separate comment for each site you share it on with a link if possible)
4) Like MyMemories on Facebook which will automatically enter you into their giveaway of an iPad once they reach 10,000 followers so share them with your friends as well or MyMemories on Twitter (leave a separate comment here once you have)
5) BLACK FRIDAY (11/25) the first 5 people to leave a comment stating what awesome deal they got, or how late they slept in while the other crazies were out shopping will automatically get 3 extra entries.http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

So what exactly am I giving away?! It is called My Memories Suite and it is a digital scrapbook software/program that you download and start using. It comes with some basic papers, elements, fonts, but you can also download more "kits" they have a ton of free ones, and some super amazing kits that cost a little. I was a little skeptical at first because I have always just done my scrap pages with Paint Shop, but after one afternoon of playing around with it, I am in love! So easy to make a page or ten!

Alright so there you have it, this is a giveaway I am excited to get someone else addicted to-I foresee some late night parties in person or online! (I will help you learn the software if you need it, but it is dang easy!)

Entries will be taken until Midnight, Sunday 11/27/11 Winner will be announced sometime Cyber Monday!

  1. What a fun giveaway! I'm one of those strange people who love cutting and gluing. I'm short on time these days but I think I will stick with that method. =o) Or maybe this giveaway will change my mind? It will be fun to look into.

    I'm following.

  2. My favorite is Fun Boys. I love the orange and blues and the style seems to fit my boys the best. (The main drawback to my traditional scrapbooking is it will be years before I'm caught up and my boys would love to be looking at themselves now!)

  5. Yay! I bought 2 things online at JCP just after midnight. A $15 super-nice coat for my son (since uh he lost his) and a $15 something else that can't be named until after Christmas.

But even better, I missed the crowds and my husband went to Walmart this morning on his way to work, to see what was left over. Everything on my list. The best are the $5 pajamas. Yippee! And a couple other things that can't be named.

  12. I don't know if I had to post about Black Friday on Black Friday, but I went to Walmart at 10pm the night before and I now vow to never do it again. I did go to Target, K-Mart, JCPenny, ShopKo and lots of other stores in the mall on black friday and got lots of good deals! I have been wanting a Shark steam mop and got that for $38 and then I got a handheld vacuum (HALLELUJAH!) for $30. Looking forward to my much cleaner (and easier to keep clean) house! I also got lots of toys for my kiddos for cheap!
